First time we meet

We meet in Orlando, Florida for the first time after few weeks of talking. The time spent on this trip has induced beautiful memories of lifetime. It ignited a spark of love between us which we will cheerish forever.

Mehendi Ceremony

The Haldi ceremony is a ritual holy bath also known as pithi ceremony, which is one of the pre-wedding ceremonies in India. Turmeric (haldi), oil and water are applied to both the bride and groom by married women on the morning of the wedding. The mixture is believed to bless the couple before the wedding.

In South Indian Telugu Wedding, we have many ritual during the wedding. The main one is The Mangalsutra, a black and gold necklace with a gold or diamond pendant symbolizes good luck, love, and friendship. The Bride moves to sit on the Groom’s left side, taking the closest position to the Groom’s heart. He then proceeds into the ceremony called Mangalya dharanam and places the Mangalsutra around her neck and applies sindoor, red vermillion (also known as kumkum), to the center of her forehead. These two offerings signify the Groom’s devotion to his Bride and the Bride’s new status as a married woman.
